Why do I see a design preview first? expand_more
So you can judge the direction before committing budget to the build. The preview isn't billed: you only pay once you decide to go ahead with development.
What if the preview isn't quite right? expand_more
We revise it with you. Coding only starts once you've approved the design, and if it turns out we're not the right fit, you can stop there without paying a build fee.
Who owns the website and source code? expand_more
You do. We'll recommend the hosting and domain registrar for your use case and help you set them up under your own name. The source code is 100% yours once development is complete.
How easy is it to update my own content? expand_more
On our Plus and Premium plans, we integrate content management system. This allows you to upload blog posts, project listings, or team updates via a simple, user-friendly interface. No coding required.
Are there any recurring monthly management fees? expand_more
No. You pay for the development once, and you own it. There's no maintenance retainer. You pay your hosting provider directly for server costs (approx. RM 50-100/mo depending on traffic), and we don't take a cut.
When exactly do I need to pay? expand_more
The design preview isn't billed. If you decide to proceed with the full build, you pay the flat fee for your chosen package (Basic, Plus or Premium) before development begins. However, your payment is treated as a fully refundable commitment deposit. We build the site and let you test it on our secure staging server for 7 days. If you are not completely satisfied during that window, we issue a full refund. The payment only becomes final and non-refundable once you give the absolute green light and we deploy the website permanently to your domain.
What happens after the website is launched? expand_more
We provide a 30-Day Launch Guarantee on Premium projects to fix any development bugs for free. For Basic and Plus, or for any new features/changes after the guarantee period, we offer on-demand development at RM 80/hour. No long-term contracts.
Are you always available for new builds? expand_more
No. Website builds run alongside Jia Yong's project and technical lead work, so we only take on 2-3 new builds per month. If we're full, we'll let you know the next available slot.
